Good Friday

To mark Good Friday this year we ask you to place a cross or crucifix in a prominant place in the window of your house, on your door, on in your garden. This will acknowledge that on this day we commemorate the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us by dying on the cross.

Trócaire and Catholic Relief Services

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. Founded in 1943 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the agency provides assistance to 130 million people in more than 90 countries and territories in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

CRS offers a beautiful series of video resources on the Stations of the Cross.  Trócaire which is the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church here in Ireland also offers a beautiful reflection resource by Syrian Child Refugees on the stations of the Cross.
